From an apartment kitchen
A family tea ritual, reimagined
Family tea customs gave Sashee an early reference point: her mother is Chinese, while her Sri Lankan father was born on a tea estate. She started the Tea Drops mission in 2015 through hands-on work in her apartment kitchen.
Her answer was whole-leaf tea and real spices, finely ground and pressed into a bagless, single-serve shape.
